Since we moved here we've always liked Ochsner Health System in its entirety, our doctors, nurses, etc., just amazing! I just wish they didn't give up on our fitness center on westbank�
Every appt I had (which was 3 today ) was on time! And that says a lot ! Even the appt with the surgeon was on time .. all the staff were pleasant and Dr was very professional and caring while explaining everything and taking his time to make sure all my questions were answered. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience seeing it was nerve wracking enough with having a serious medical isssue . Hope the surgery will go as smoothly
As of right now my grandmother is there, she has traveled 2.5 hour by ambulance to see a cancer specialist. She is in pain as we speak, they won't give her anything for it right now, but I'm hoping and praying that the doctor's and staff will treat her like she was one of there loved ones. Let's see what tomorrow bring???
Avoid the CMICU at all cost! Some of the rudest people I have encountered. Visitors aren't allowed from 6:30-7:30 (which lets not forget the parking garage is a 10 minute walk) so when I get there I realized it was 6:34 but I thought I might as well try since I had already walked all the way there. So as I get close to the door the receptionist comes out and has an attitude before anything occurred and said the doors are locked until 7:30 which is fine but the receptionist continues to stand at the door while I'm writing the... read more
Went to the ICU to see a family member but was told it was not visting time. The receptionist then proceeded to open the door and watch me while I write down the times and when I asked why she was watching me she told me "she could" I then said you weren't outside the door watching these other people by the door she then said "it was protocol " I said ok and began to walk away. I turned around and walked back to where she was standing leaning on the door and asked her for her name because she did not have her I.D on. That's ... read more
Had the BEST care for my 4 week old granddaughter who had surgery there. EVERY single person we had contact with from Drs to Nurses to housekeeping staff went above and beyond!!!
Unbelievable. These people clearly do not vet their ER nursing staff. There was one nurse who had a serious body odor issue, do they not maintain regular standards of cleanliness? Every time she walked in the room she smelled like garbage. Her personality wasn't much better. Disgusting.
