This place and the nurses here are a fucking joke the way they treated my brother three days after
Everyone was awesome except for the staff in bistro 42. Rude,sign says open at 6 am so at 601 I'm waiting for service and get ran out and told don't open till 630. Not in a polite way either. Acted like i was a burden.
I'm Ochsner 100%!!!! Love all my doctors! Your billing department could use help but it doesn't change how I feel about the facility or my doctors. I worked in the hospital administration department years ago and left for personal reasons. Tried to get back on recently but I can't get my foot in the door to get phone call. Love Ochsner, I highly recommend.
From Pediatrics, Family medicine & primary care, women's health ( OB & Gyn) to Neurology (nationally ranked & only ALSA treatment center in LA) & geriatric programs... our family appreciates & champions Ochsner for its great care.
2.5 hours at the west bank ER with my 2 year old son gushing blood out of his forehead and they didn't even offer a tissue to clean the blood with. He visibly has head trauma and we are still sitting here. Should have just went to Children's.
The atmosphere was so pleasing made me forget for a minute why I was really there...so enjoyed the live piano player, food , nurses and service....

I see I am not the only one with a very bad experience at this facility. After my husband had brain surgery. He was given 1 pill 4 times a day instead of 1 3 times a day. When I questioned the nurses all I was told was the dr had changed he order. I found out later that his orders were not changed by his doctor. Also one day I questioned the nurse as to what she had given him and she said she gave him the med and dosage that was on the computer.
