New Orleans location. Huge disappointment : ) First doctor visit and doctor’s nurse lost CT report and denied having a phone conversation with me about the report (we should have walked out then). We had to pay for and get another CT. $15,000 surgery for two small throat biopsies while refusing to biopsy the swollen lymph nodes. $15,000 surgery and a pathology report that is just a few lines with minimal information. I’m so disappointed in this hospital ! This hospital has a serious problem. I don’ doubt the doctors are very good and their immediate support staff, but I’m going to tell you about our story. My wife anne morel had to have a same day surgery on Tuesday June 12th to remove her gallbladder. The doctors had a problem but they removed it and ordered my wife to be admitted. Ochner is a pain in the ass. They already have enough land around this area and they want more. They need to stop the madness and leave people in this area alone.
My go to hospital. That’s all I have to say about that.
Needs to have one physician on a patient especially critically ill patients. This rotating doctors in not giving the patient the quality of care they deserve. I am going to send a letter to the Dept of H & H to stop the type of care this hospital is giving.
I thought Ochscer was all about patient care,but a friend of mine was fired for doing her job.This person put patient care before anything and was very good with the patients.Yet she was fired!!! Her supervisor gave her a good employee review,but yet fired her.I think her supervisor should be reviewed instead of her department.
Ochsner Jefferson is a hit or miss.I've had some great experiences as well as bad I had visited their E.R a few weeks ago with what I suspected was an abdominal hernia I was almost sure needed surgery.
