I type this as I am sitting in Oshsner Hospital in Kenner waiting for my 94 year old dad to come back to his room from a procedure to let us know if he has a bacteria infection around his heart. I am amazed at the people who work here. They are always friendly, helpful, courteous, polite, and empathetic. They empty urinals, clean up vomit, risk infections, left heavy patients, listen to complaints (boy do they listen to complaints), poke frail old people with needles, watch them struggle to move from bed to chair and OMG so ... read more
theses folks commenting on here must be friends of employees or employees,... was worst treatment i have ever gotten from a hospital of this size and a piss poor representation of the jefferson hwy ocshner,... if this doesnt get better i see many cases of malpractice in there future,... i was only there 6 hrs and witnessed 2 patients and families walk out after 2 hrs waiting with no one hardly there ,... the bottom line here is dollars folks the hospital is being remodeled with patient less than 15 feet from rooms receiving ... read more
