A great venue, very well run and staffed by really decent enthusiastic people who have put a lot of effort and energy into making this place work as well as it does. Facilities are spotless and the most important thing is the lake is so clean and free from pollution. We attended the Ocean Walker Academy this week with my daughter for one-to-one lesson's with Adam in the hope of her learning the Ocean Walker technique. We had high expectations, and they were completely blown out of the water by the actual experience. We were met by Zoe, whose enthusiasm was infectious! She was so warm, friendly, and engaging and showed us around the beautiful and immaculate facilities and explained what would happen during the lesson. Moon Swim - 10th September. What a wonderful way to experience Crystal Lake. Though the moon was elusive, we got to hear the Owl and see the bats. Sharing the swim with resident bird life was an added bonus. Following the bobbing, glowing , swim floats was so calming. I would throughly recommend a night swim for a different experience. The cuppa in the barn was a great way to end the evening. Will definitely be booking another. Maybe the moon will put in an appearance next time!
Ocean Walker lake is such a beautiful place to swim. Friendly and helpful staff. Fully lifeguarded so feel safe at all times. Highly recommend.
Another brilliant Ocean Walker Warrior Race day. Well organised, friendly atmosphere, everyone enjoyed themselves, some keen racing and relaxed fun swimmers, everyone was supported to finish. Unexpected winner of the womens 1.5k breaststroke, after 2 3rd places in the last 2 events.
