We had a awesome stay last week. Weather was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a suite and it was perfect. Location couldn't be better. We will definitely be back!!!!
We had a great stay at Ocean Villa at Dog Beach. I wish we were dog owners! The rooms were nice and clean. I loved how they had nice vinyl flooring, not carpet which can get gross near a beach. The rooms looked recently renovated and the location couldn't be better. The hotel is in the airport flight path but you don't hear the planes at all inside. I just wish there had been a gate directly from the hotel to the beach instead of having to walk around the corner. We will stay there again!
A dog friendly hotel right on dog beach, it was great! Exactly what we were looking for and more. Dog wash right at the beach access gate and a free gift for the dogs when we checked in :). Jeff at the front desk was fast and friendly and answered all of my questions. To top it off, there are vegan places to eat within a few miles.
Love this place!!! :) the location is everything for me and my dog! Will always be where we stay in San Diego! Thank you for the great hospitality and for welcoming dogs!
Just spent my first weekend at Ocean Villa Inn at Dog Beach but it definitely won't be my last. At last a place that you can take your best friend and truly relax. The staff at Ocean Villa Inn was extremely friendly and helpful. It's all about the dogs here and such a breath of fresh air in the dog world. I loved the availability of the outdoor dog wash, the huge communal dog run just outside your room, and it being just steps to the beach where it was so enlightening to see so many dogs having the time of their lives. Try it ...... you,ll like it, Walk to the dog beach with your loved ones, people and pets. Stoll down the sand or sidewalk to downtown Ocean Beach. Not much change from when we lived here in the 60s and 70s. Bill Wood, Las Vegas.
