James and the two women up front made this is an extra-special stay. The customer service with those 3 was out standing. The rest of the staff is questionable, but the rooms were cute and cozy and having the dog run right outside is priceless, i wouldn't stay anywhere else with my dog unless the customer service changed, because some of them were quite unhelpful and clueless to the words "customer service"
What an amazing place on the beach! Everyone was very friendly and the hotel staff was very helpful. The room was nice and we had an amazing deck over looking the beach. We definitely will be returning when we visit California again!
Ocean villa is so high in my book because of location location location! Many people think on is for trashy hippies but my dogs are so at home at dog beach I always made an effort to stay there even when I had an apartment in pacific beach, LA jolla, orange county, etc...getting expensive...been updated but I would suggest bringing extra towels since the floors get so sandy its not very welcoming for romance unless you don't mind getting sandy...I would give it a 5 star if they served a hot breakfast! Great place, heated pool, the most dog friendly place I have ever seen, nice rooms, friendly staff, right on the beach, awesome neighborhood.
