Have to say was very leary when we pulled up. Very sketchy looking on the outside. The room was clean though and looks like probably remodeled recently and done cheaply. The other issue was the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on. I don't know who was above us but sounded like they were wearing cement shoes and moving furniture most of the night. Horrible!
The rooms were equipped with what you need for a beach stay with a dog. Nothing fancy, but nice. The location is perfect for beach fun & walking distance to many cafes, bars & restaurants. The front desk staff was friendly and always available. The free breakfast was a nice perk too. My only negative comment would be that the wifi was not reliable, but that wouldn't stop me from returning! It was a lovely weekend getaway with our dog!
The team here is fantastic. Everyone is so supportive, helpful, and amazing. Out of all the times I've visited SD this is the only place I'll stay. Thank you so much!
Stayed there the last two winters and will return this January for 4-5 weeks.

We have been staying at Ocean Villa Inn while on vacation with our kids for 15 years! Now, it's kids and grandkids.....wouldn't think of taking them anywhere else! Can't wait till end of July!! See you guys soon!
