I went to see a car and was very certain that I wanted to buy it, I went home to think about it and do some research, I found out that there were multiple MOT advisories that needed to be fixed on the car that had been present for the past 3 years, when questioned about it, Aiden did not have any clue if they had been fixed and clearly no intention of fixing these problems either. Bought my Land Rover from Oakwood. Aiden was a very reasonable chap, not pushy and agreed to have a few things looked at by a local garage that I had some minor concerns about. Work was done, new MOT and happy with my purchase
The first thing to say is that there are several Oakwood motor delears around and I think the negative reviews are for other firms, not Aiden's. I've bought two cars from Aiden, a Ford Mondeo, which ran without faults for a couple of years before I gave it to my nephew - it's still running well about 7 years after my original purchae. The second car was a BMW 3 Series - just 27k on the clock at the time - four years later it's up to 69k and a pleasure to drive. No brainer to go here if you're a car enthusiast! You'll find solid and unique cars that are in great nick and have been looked after.
