Fantastic tour one of the best Plantations to date that I have visited. Need to check this place out!
Absolutely breathtaking& very historically informative. ...
Lovely! Our tour guide, Donna was a true southern lady. We will see y'all again.
I am so happy we stopped to visit Oak Alley Plantation on our way back home to Oregon. If we didn't have to catch a plane to go home, we would've stayed there all day. The home and grounds are absolutely breathtaking.
The grounds are beautiful. The tour was horrible!!! Y'all crammed in a bus load of people along with us that had waited in the heat for over 30 mins. We could not enjoy the rooms because they were packed with people.
Great mix of history and location, and of course those amazing trees. Personal histories of the owner families was covered very well by our guide.
I've been there 4x already and each time I've been awed by the beauty of this place.
I will stay here next time. I totally enjoyed myself and the food was delicious.
While on a week long vacation we visited Oak Alley Plantation. The tour was great. We finished up with lunch at the restaurant. I had the chicken and sausage gumbo. One word "Delicious"!!! It was so good I bought the cookbook and made it for my family when I got home.
