We had an interesting and informative tour.. Our guide was knowledgeable and really bought history alive for us with her stories of the families and plantation life. The grounds are beautiful and well worth a stroll. Looking at the lives of the enslaved people and their quarters was quite shocking and thought provoking. Altogether an interesting glimpse into the past.

I went in september of 2016 for a tour with my parents for my birthday. We had a great time the food was pretty good. The plantation was beautiful and our tour was very interesting. Loved walking around the grounds and learning more about the history of the plantation!

Oak Alley is awesome! We had gone to another plantation to take my daughters senior pictures & they wanted $400 for us to take pictures in there!! 😳😠 Ridiculous So, in a panic, we called Oak Alley, which we should have in the first place & they were very accomodating & much more reasonable on the price. Her pictures came out beautiful & we will be back for an overnite stay soon!! Thank you Oak Alley!!

Wish they would do smaller groups at a time. It was crowded in each room so I couldn't see everything. Beautiful place though.
