Beautiful place! It's a must see. The views of the Oak tree is breathtaking. The slaves quarters are really sad knowing what those people went through. Sad time in our history. It's like walking back in time.

It was a beautiful setting; well worth the cost. This makes for a great day trip from New Orleans. Make sure to bring your camera.

As soon as you arrive you are intoxicated by the sweet sent of magnolia's carried softly on a warm enveloping breeze rustling down through the gracefully towering Live Virginia Oaks that take you back to long hot summer days gone by in a moment in time we are fascinated and intrigued by and oh only if they could talk, the story they would tell. This is a place I want my grand children's children to visit

Beautiful grounds...was there early before it opened to public for a 5K race...got to walk the property before the race and it's just beautiful...especially when the sun is rising !! Reveille at Oak Alley 5K was a really fun event and the final stretch off River Road into the "alley of trees walkway" leading to the home was purely amazing !!

Oak Alley is my favorite of the plantations in the area. It's so gorgeous! The grounds are beautiful, and the tours of the main house are super informative.
