Come enjoy her beauty and dream of her rich past . . . Located on the Mississippi River between the historic Louisiana cities of New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Oak Alley Plantation has been called the "Grande Dame of the Great River Road". Very beautiful property. Well kept. Great tour guides. Good food and bathroom facilities. Would have given 5 stars if they would have acknowledged that this was one of the most brutal plantations for slaves. Instead they focused on the Family that owned the Plantation with no mention of how awful they were to their slaves.

The trees are amazing, even though they were planted by some greed-engorged ego monster in the 1700s. The people suck. The whole thing sucks. It ruined my day. Byeeee.
