When visiting New Orleans a visit to Oak Alley sugar plantation is a must. Absolutely stunning gardens especially the 240m of 400+ years old oak trees. Really enjoyed the tour of the house very interesting giving an insite to a typical plantation and daily lives of the owners and skates. Our guide was dressed in a typical plantation ladies dress

We are from Florida and decided to venture outside of the Big Easy and drove River road. Stopped by here late Saturday afternoon and we are in awe of the beauty of the property. We are planning to book the B&B in the very near future.
