The drive to NYU Langone was horrible because of the traffic. Once we arrived, we found such a professional and pleasant atmosphere. The staff was lovely. We dealt with several doctors and were put at ease and given a teeny, tiny glimmer of hope that open heart surgery can 'probably' be avoided. Cannot say enough about Dr. Mathew Williams' staff. He and Dr. Homan Ibrahim were very professional and reassuring. They spoke to us in plain language. The aortic valve definitely needs to be replaced, but, as of now, the mitral valv... read more
