They turned away my blind wife transporting my disabled son because she was literally 5 minutes late. Then she had to wait for an hour before the supervisor came to speak to her. disgusting.
This is the worst peice of shit hospital. The rooms are so small. Not.a good place if.youre claustrophobic. You can stand up and get up out of.your bed and thats about it. Dont invite any visitors because there will be nowhere for rhem to sit or stand. They will wake you up every few hours for bullshit vital signs instead of letting you sleep through your pain and make you beg for pain meds right out of anesthesia. Amazing doctors and staff. But the wait in their Ob/Gyn office is unreal. They schedule appointments 4.5 hours in between on same day & im 38 WEEKS pregnant. Sitting in an uncomfortable chair for almost 5 hours plus 2 hours travel time for someone so pregnant is truly unprofessional. I guess u have to take the cons with the pros and it's worth it to have the best prenatal care in NYC. But My back was killing me by the time I got home I started having cramps & could barley get any sleep.
Not only did they lose one of my test results, it took ME calling them for a follow-up visit for them to notice this. I wait almost an hour for my appointment, only to have the doctor walk out to take a personal phone call!!! Unacceptable!!! I'll be transferring my record to a better facility ASAP!!
I am a patient with NYU and I need a new specialist. I have just spent my entire day on the phone with the medical centers, the patient services, and the referral number and no one will help me get an appointment next week despite all of them telling me I have "urgent" symptoms that need a doctor. You all are basically just forcing me to become sick enough that I have to go to the emergency room before anyone will see me.
