My family moved here two years ago and started to visit the NYU pediatrics in Huntington. A couple months ago my son needed to go to the emergency room but we didn’t know where to go as we are in between a few hospitals. I called our physician to ask and they said to come in. I explained we needed stitches but they said to come in and they would direct us where to go. In a time of panic I agreed. RecommendedThe wait was long, but the staff was great! Super thorough, intelligent but not dismissive, very polite and genuinely concerned. They listened and worked hard to meet my needs. A special thanks to Alexandra Grino, MD, Brian Gilberti, MD, Michelle Romeo, MD and Anna-Marie Francis, MD for being such a great team and making my emergency room visit comfortable and satisfying. I left calm and clear about my prognosis. Thank you!
I highly recommend this hospital. They took care of arranging my pre-surgical testing at the hospital. I had a rare problem with my spinal cord. The neurosurgeon, Dr. Perin, performed the very delicate, high risk surgery. It worked out beautifully. There are very few surgeons who perform this surgery. The staff was wonderful with attentive care while I was in the ICU.

The worst hospital I’ve ever been omitted, because it’s usually full of sick patients and the staff didn’t put me in a room. The ER is filthy and loud that there is no privacy at all. No private room was available for me at all. Too dirty and nasty. Sad but true.

all the nurses this time in the emergency room have attitudes last time i was in doctors r great if they don't like there job they shouldn't be a nurse never seen such attitudes
