Car purchased with some minor undisclosed damage to suspension. Buying experience acceptable
Rude, aggressive scammers. Purchased a car from here late last year with a "3 month warranty". After 5 weeks, an engine light came on the dashboard. Asked them for help but was told to call after Christmas and that I could seek a diagnosis from another garage before bringing it in, which I did; about £1800 of work was needed. Around the 8th week after purchased (within the 3 month warranty) I called Car & House and spoke with the manager Nick who said they wouldn't be covering it under warranty because it's "Wear and tear". ... read more
I bought a car a few months ago from them because I needed a car immediately and was the first one I saw available and in my budget. However the guy from there did not look like he was interested in selling. The car had failed the MOT before I bought it and they repaired the defects. I asked him if the car has two keys, he said yes but he wanted to give me only one and I needed to remind him about the second one. Great service from Nick. Very informative, and helpful with questions we had. Bought a Mini Cooper S and he went above and beyond to give us the best service. I will be going back in the future
I never submit reviews however based on the service I feel it warrants it. I bought a BMW 530D from Nick recently and he was great throughout the whole process. He is knowledgeable, honest and helped me find the right car for me at a great price. There was a small issue with a rear break light a couple of weeks later, I called Nick and he was great, apologised and asked me to pop back and he got his mechanic to fix it immediately. Great car and great service, couldn’t recommend highly enough
