Stay AWAY from this company. They are into scamming people of their money. They warranty is worthless, always cutting down costs on materials and labourerwork using untrained builders with lack of basing building knowledge as they are cheaper and the company makes a fortune out of them. In March 2024 I paid Nu Space a deposit of over £13,000 for a 2-bed loft extension. I was given a clear written agreement that if planning permission was not secured, my deposit would be returned minus planning costs. Planning permission was not secured. I requested my refund in June 2024. From July 2024 onwards, Graham Chappell has repeatedly acknowledged in writing that I am owed a refund but stated that the business does not have the funds to pay. I advise you to choose a different company for your project. Nuspace appear to be very interested until you pay the deposit, after which you'll very rarely hear from them apart from when they want more money. Their customer service is poor and their role in the process is extremely minimal considering the huge cut of the budget they take. They outsource virtually everything. Positives: Nuspace have, eventually, built us a loft to what appears to be a reasonable standard. The builders who were on site through the process were generally polite and seemed capable. Negatives: The plan development process was extremely slow and painful, with repeated errors being made and poor communication about what was likely to be accepted by planning, leading to additional costs and a long delay to project start.
