Seriously bad experience in this store, was shopping at Lower Hutt earlier and my daughter found some shoes she liked however one shoe had a mark on the suede. The lady from LH ( absolutely lovely by the way) called Upper Hutt, they had a pair that were the display but was told no scuffs marks etc. When we arrived in the UH store to collect these shoes they were clearly damaged on the back of the heel and dirty on bottom. Staff are friendly and helpful, great prices.
I had a disappointing experience here due to the customer service of the older lady. When I politely asked if there was another pair available that wasn’t the display shoe, the older lady assisting me didn’t even bother to check. She came across as dismissive and showed no empathy or willingness to help. As a customer, you expect at least basic courtesy and effort. Unfortunately, I left feeling unwelcome and disappointed, and I won’t be returning. The other younger person at the counter was friendly though.
