I am a below the knee amputee and as such, I am permanently reliant upon a wheelchair and mobility scooter, I have also been diagnosed with Ischemic Heart Disease. In January 2018, Now Medical said I had no medical priority and I was awarded Band D. In February 2018, I suffered a heart attack and I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. In September 2020, Now Medical said I had no medical priority and they awarded me Band D Priority again.
I would like to score them 'no stars. Tower hamlets Brough used them to decide if I am at' risk to life' when my reports from professionals was very clear. I believe, Now medical have a partnership with local authorities and only used them to refuse genuine people who are struggling.
How this company has not been investigated is beyond me?! How do they sleep at night dismissing peoples serious health issues !?
My son who is 20yrs old has an EHCP , diagnosed with Mental Health Disabilities has been deemed as not having a priority need for housing, they've had over 150 page report from his GP detailing his issue's which include, Dyspraxia, Global Development Delay, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, BPD and a history of self harm!..How the hell can he not be priority need?! Did they actually read the GP report. ??This company is corrupt and needs shutting down, the UK has it's priorities all wrong!!!
Disgusting doctors! MTVH used them to assess my case to move under medical grounds and shockingly I was refused despite my situation. The good Lord will see me through! Once again the system has failed me
