Dr. McLaughlin has been by oral surgeon for 30 years and he is as friendly and knowledgeable now as he's always been. He is thorough and reassuring. And his staff is friendly and efficient. My visit yesterday was about as good as a visit to an oral surgeon can be.
Professional interaction and knowledge of the situation as it pertains to me was the most important attribute in my choice of Dr. McLaughlin. He took the time to explain and answer questions on what I needed to know and what had to be done to address my issues. My trust and faith in his abilities to fix my problems have been built through experience and results.
Dr. Trofa and his oral surgery assistants have provide very effective and compassionate care during my recent visits for tooth extractions.
The staff was great. The only negative was the women who came in to do the i.v. she was not pleasant at all. She did not make my daughter feel comfortable. She did not say a word. Did not explain what she was doing seemed in a rush. My daughter was extremely nervous and just a kind word would have probably helped. The nurse was great with direction afterword and ladies at the front were helpful.
My dentist recommended I see Dr. McLaughlin. He actually took the time to carefully explain my options, and did not push me to make a rushed decision, but advised me of my options, and relative consequences.
