I was only there to pick up someone, so I can't comment on any of the hospital procedures. I was told that he was almost ready to be discharged at 4pm but it was after 5pm before he was actually able to leave. I did receive a phone call at about 445 saying there was a delay but he would be down in 5 minutes. 5 minutes was more like 20.
Very pleased with the staff on 6th floor. Taking good care of my 95 year old mom. Hospice team are wonderful
The care my mom has recieved at Norwalk Hospital has been exceptional. The staff on the 7 th floor are professional caring and compassionate in every sense.

I love the way the new ER looks however patient care is horrible, was left in a room for 2 1/2 hours crying in pain, before they even took blood! Then the doctor and 2nd or maybe 3rd nurse were both very non interested in listening to me, very direct and then walking away while I was still talking. The male nurse that was sent to draw blood was poking me at random "oh look that vein looks good, and just sticking me! Not even a feel before going in" craziest thing I ever experienced!! I have to say the staff focus on patients is very good. My two RNs Lauren and Jessica on the eighth floor were great. Pleasant very attentive and made stay at the hospital a nice one during a painful time.

Great service, brutal waiting time. But they took a wonderful care of my son, I'm grateful.
I , once again , am totally blown away by the professionalism, integrity, and over all feeling of dedication to completely do their very best in caring for their patients at the Norwalk Hospital, I have never been disappointed at any point while being treated there, and feel eternally grateful for all of their staff.... I would recommend anyone seeking an opinion "you are in very good hands there" No worries
