Stayed at Farne Lookout, Seahouses. Great views, and comfortable, but tired. Suggest inadequate management. Bought new pool cues as they were broken £20); stuck the toilet brush back together; inadequate cloths and kitchen basics provided; woodwork needs work; front patio unusable- seating dirty. Just leaves an unpleasant taste for the money.

Stopped at The Boat House Alnmouth first week in February. The property was so cold when we arrived, we were confused, as the website and the owners stated it had been fully occupied. We have since found out this was a lie, the property had been empty for at least 3 weeks before we arrived with no heating on. The property was freezing and the beds felt damp. Stayed with them a number of times, but recently the quality and cleanliness of the properties has gone down hill and the customer service has as well. Stayed at a property recently that was dirty and had a few maintenance issues, contacted them while staying but they did not resolve the issues. Sent a complaint and have not heard anything after 3 weeks, not even to acknowledge the complaint. Would not recommend anymore.
