Terrible place. Extremely unprofessional people. No care at all. Only in it for the NHS funding. Couldn't get my relative out of there quick enough, left on a bed for hours on end with no help. Room bells constantly ringing and no staff about. It's hell on earth and no place for anyone to live their last days. Do not leave your loved ones here.
Northgate house is a very nice care home that is full of very friendly and helpful staff. Northgate also has lots of good facilities for the residents too. The residents and staff there all seemed very happy and the member of staff Sally was extremely nice and helpful towards me.
A wonderful homely care home. Mum who has vascular dementia is happy living at Northgate. Many of the times I visit her she thinks she is a lovely hotel! She is always happy with living there. All staff are kind and helpful. Northgate House keeps me informed of anything happening or going on for Mum and are extremely supportive especially as I am the attorney for both of Mum's LPA's but this is completely a new role for me. Sympathetic and sensitive care is provided by all the staff who have the best interests of the residents at heart. Everyone is treated according to their needs and individual wishes as far as is possible. The home is clean and tidy, the rooms are comfortable, food is wholesome and there are a wide range of activities organised throughout the year to engage, amuse and entertain the residents.
