This is 2nd time, this place saved me ! 1st time , I messed up a wood to cut correctly & he fixed it. Now I messed up a glass & he happy to save me again! I didn't even know , they do cut glass too. So many mean reviews are here which is super unfair. They are very unique & high quality. Definitely highly recommend them.
Very helpful family run business. Russell fitted four oak doors for us this week, and we were impressed by the quality of the workmanship, carried out quickly and precisely. All the doors were slightly differing sizes, and all four needed to but cut shorter than the standard size. They all now fit perfectly and are a vast improvement to our previous doors. He also tidied and cleaned up afterwards, which was much appreciated. Would not hesitate to recommend North Road Timber and will certainly use them again in future.
Bad communication with paying customers. Take your money up-front for a job, then leave you to chase them when it's finished; you've taken my money, the least you can do is give me a phone call ? - Obviously not. Having said that, the craftsmanship of the finished goods is superb, which earns them the 2 extra stars plus the 1 they would have received otherwise. All-in-all however, any good points I'm afraid to say, are outweighed by the bad points here and I would find it difficult to do business with them again in the futur... read more
Terry and the team have been supplying joinery to my company on a few projects now, Customer and the fitters are all very happy with what comes out of the workshop. Will always use North Road
