If you get reffered here avoid them like the plague! They refused to help me at first, until talking mental health Derbyshire managed to get them to accept me. They did a mental health assessment over the phone, the lady who did that was brilliant. Since then the doctors are absolutely awful. I've been shouted aggressively at down the phone by a Dr Ugwu, I told them I was going to make an official complaint and one of them tried to take the complaint themselves to avoid their colleagues getting into trouble. Always engaged, none responsive, absolutely rubbish
This service has helped me more than any other service I have been under. I have had my fair share of workers who weren’t so good at this team which hindered my progression and support, but hopefully that’s in the past. The staff I work with now listen to me, support me and help me with anything I am struggling with (despite their new. management who are not so good). I just want anyone who’s thinking of accessing support to know this team will help you. I’m no where near the place I was 12 months ago: things are still hard ... read more
