I gave birth on 24th October 2014 at UNC Woman’s hospital and end up having severe Post-Epidural Headache and hematoma due to the Epidural. When my symptom accrued on 24th, my nurse immediately told me that it was very likely that my Epidural went wrong according to her experience and she contacted my anesthesiologist right away. I also talked with my doctor friends and they all agreed that it was because of the Epidural and I should have a procedure called "blood patch" done...Continue Reading
Great Hospital
Extremely disappointed in the care that my mother is receiving right now in the emergency room. She is 67 years old, has had open heart surgery and history of afib and is currently sitting in extreme pain with her wrist. We have been sitting in theER for over one hour and half. A Twenty something year old who was limping was just checked inland was brought back almost immediately. I was told when asked why that there are two parts of the emergency room. Can we say age discrimination!
I'm A 12 Year Old Pre-Teenager That Has A Prodtetic Leg, And Since I Was 3 Months, A Doctor Called Dr. Henderson Has Attended Me and Now He Is Pretty Old ... And I just Got Surgery On My Prostetic Leg On Jan. 2nd
21yrs ago UNC was my 2nd home. I'm so thankful for all they did for me by making sure my baby boy stayed in place just a little while longer and by taking care of him once he (my son) decided 7 months was long enough... Thank You!!!!!(1993)

My son recently had his combined liver/transplant here at UNC and the level of care has been great. Doctors and nurses working around the clock to care for our precious boy. Wonderful transplant team and Nephrology team!
