One of the worst booking experiences I have ever had using VRBO, Norfolk Holiday Properties and Host & Stay. Full of broken promises and total disorganisation.
Fabulous cottage in great location very close to pubs and coastal walks. Spotlessly clean with nice quality towels and bed linen. Would have been 5 stars but the cutlery, glassware and crockery were very tired and need replacing. There were no spare toilet rolls, hand soap in bathroom or washing up liquid. We did light the wood burning fire (having purchased kindling and fire lighters) but it exhausted too much smoke into the room so we extinguished it. Having said all of this we would definitely stay there again!
Very comfortable house in an excellent location. Communication from the holiday company was timely and clear. The only disappointment was not being able to store our packed suitcase for a couple of hours after checkout which has been possible in the many other holiday cottages that we have visited.
We had an amazing night stay in the dragonfly spa lodge, it was the perfect little get away to recharge! The hot tub was lovely and the sauna was such an added bonus! The lodge itself was well equipp and very clean. The surroundings were so peaceful, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Having recently stayed at Haclins Cottage, the property is lovely and we had a good time BUT - Norfolk Holiday Properties completely ignored three emails and a message on messenger about the dishwasher not working. Very poor customer service. I realise this is a minor inconvenience in the big scheme of things but ignoring communication is not acceptable.
