We booked Holly Lodge at Wells Next-The-Sea for a week at the end of May and whilst the property was in a great location and open plan (which we like) the cottage was in a very poor state. 1. Stayed with family in a house over the Christmas week. When we arrived, only one of the 3 beds were made, and there was a laundry bag in the hallway with towels and bedding which did not smell very fresh! Not ideal having to make up 2 king-size beds after a 4 hour journey! The house itself wasn't as clean as you would expect - found someone else's dirty socks under a wardrobe and dust under beds! Booked Holly Cottage Heacham thru this company, very easy process. However, on arrival found some chipped crockery, stained mugs & stained cutlery, only two cereal bowls, but with excessive number of glasses everything needed a thorough washing before use. Our car was parked up for the week in area advised on arrival instructions not causing any obstructions or blocking any neighbour parking nor blocking footpath. We’ve stayed in Burnham Market several times now and can highly recommend Norfolk Hideaways. Their website and booking system is easy to use. We’ve only ever needed help with an issue once, during a stay, as the properties are always tip top (when we did need it, assistance was prompt and they sorted the problem without fuss). For a couple of our stays we needed help with flexibility on dates. Norfolk Hideaways spoke to the owners and got everything sorted. They were brilliant. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
