Reception staff are rude and unhelpful. Would be better speaking to a robot as the reception staff’s lack of empathy and understanding is appalling and completely discredits this doctor’s surgery which used to have great standing in the community. Messages are shared about respect to staff; the reception staff may wish to listen to this advice too and be respectful to patients. My experience of this practice so far is very positive. We all know that it takes longer to get appointments at the moment but the staff have been unfailingly courteous and helpful despite the immense pressure they must be under. I feel that a lot of the reviews are deeply unfair.

Good doctors and clinicians once you get past the wall of what has mostly been (from my experience) inept, unsympathetic, overworked reception staff. It’s a pity because this practice could be great if reception felt like an integrated team but the majority just don’t seem to like their job.

All the receptionists are so rude. I honestly have no idea how someone as rude as dense as them is even allowed to work within the nhs.

Very very disappointed with the running of this GP practice. I’ve been registered here since birth, and after covid the quality of care has plummeted. Patients are excepted to wait weeks before seeing a doctor, leaving no alternative but to attend out of hours! The reception staff are not pleasant to speak with and lack the competency to decipher the nature of emergency. Being a health professional myself I find the quality of care very poor and I am considering leaving the practice.
