DR d'Souza was very informative.Explained the issue I was having and the solution.There were complications because of earlier surgery.He made feel confident that he had the knowledge and skills to correct and repair.He did just that.The healing process was just as he said.Very Pleased.
The young woman receptionist greeted me with a very sincere welcome. A mere five minutes later and Valerie called my name, bringing me into the exam room. Valerie was great...a very good listener who answered any of the questions which I had. And then Dr. D'Souza came in. The situation with my foot and ankle is somewhat complicated. Dr. D'Souza is a phenomenal surgeon, with an amazing bedside manner and personality. Three years of being gaslit by medical professionals about my ankle and my husband told me to go straight to an orthopedist. At my first appointment with Dr. D'Souza he had an x-ray completed that showed a mass in my ankle, and he ordered an MRI which showed a large cyst. Finally I had a reason for the pain. I’m very satisfied with the my surgery & healing is going well
I never felt so unheard. Dr. D’souza had no interest in providing care and it showed. In my 2 appointments I was dismissed, spoken down to, and advised poorly. The man couldn’t even be bothered to do a physical assessment before advising surgery. My short time in his care was one of the worst experiences of my life, at a time where I was most vulnerable.
