Today was my 3 month follow-up appointment after my surgery. Dr. Patel and his staff were excellent with every aspect of my care. My initial appointment with Dr. Patel was via telemedicine (due to COVID protocol). He reviewed my MRI and was very clear with explanation related to my back pain and treatment options. I had an appointment with Dr Patel for a second option. He did a great job of reviewing my X-rays and MRI disks. I felt he listened to my concerns about the procedure. I would definitely recommend Dr Patel to family and friends. I was considerably less anxious and relieved when I left his office. I would go to Dr Patel again as a regular patient if I have any further issues.

Dr.Nimesh Patel did a major back surgery on me in May 2020 and then in August 2020 did a major neck surgery through this pandemic. He is the best neurosurgeon in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area. He has great bed side manners and really cares about his patients. I would recommend him to any one.

Dr. Patel was very professional, nice and was a great listener. He was always willing to explain in detail anything that was related to the reason for the visit. After surgery was performed, which was great, he followed through with all post surgery items such as check ups, therapy, etc.. Will definitely recommend to anyone and/or visit again as needed.

Dr Patel is amazing. He and his staff (Melba) communicate efficiently and effectively in terms that anyone can understand. Even through a pandemic, I was able to have an initial visit, surgery, and follow up. He explained the surgery process and recovery period. He is very easy to talk to and takes the time to answer questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone in need of his services.

I was having pain in my back, going to my left hip, thigh, and sometimes down my leg causing me to “shuffle” in walking. Dr. Patel diagnosed this with an MRI report without seeing me in the office. He performed a Laminectomy. This was a similar situation to what I had on my right side several years ago which he corrected.

Doctor Patel is the best, I cannot say enough good things about him and his office team. My surgery was postponed due to Texas shutting down elective surgeries but the team was in contact every step of the way and got me scheduled one week later with no issues. He was always available to me for any questions and I had a lot. I had an “ACDF” and am now back to a pain-free state. I recommend him to everyone!

I found Dr. Patel through internet search. He was one of the top 3 listed as the best neurosurgeons in the DFW area and the only one of them who took my Medicare insurance. Dr Patel was fantastic. He always took as much time as my family and I needed to explain the process and surgery. His bedside manner is impeccable. His medical assistant and office staff are remarkable and kind.
