Today my wife and I visited Dr. Arias for our annual check up. Over the years we learned that finding a highly capable family doctor with good bed side manners AND backed by friendly and professional support staff is surprisingly difficult. Dr. Wayhs is an incredible doctor. I have not received this kind of care since I was a child and doctors did home visits. She not only is thorough, she cares about 'Your' health and well-being. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and explains your diagnosis/treatment in ways you can understand. I am very confident that Dr. Wayhs will provide the best care possible and she has gained a life long patient with me.
I am writing this review on behalf of my 77 year old father who suffered from lumbar stenosis causing pain which radiated down his entire leg and greatly affected his quality of life. He suffered from chronic pain, numbness, tingling and balance difficulty. I had a laminectomy and was very pleased with both Dr. Patel and his office. I work in a hospital and he was recommended by all. Very professional and technically skilled. Questions were always answered. I needed FMLA paperwork completed and office staff was helpful and responded quickly.
I have been with Dr. Wayhs for about 2 years now. She is the first GP I have seen that actually made me feel like she was listening. To be fair, I am very concise in my descriptions of everything, but she did make me feel like she listened to me in order to address my issues. I already HAVE recommended her to several of my friends, and I will do so again!
I have a back issue and went to 3 surgeons who all recommended a fusion. I heard the recovery is very long. Dr. Patel was recommended also, but I could not find a time to come it that worked. But then I went in and he said I could do another surgery as a fusion was not necessary. I got the "lighter" version of the fusion and it was wonderful. I am able to do everything without pain and my downtime was easy! we love him!
First office visit went well. He was my last surgeon opinion and I decided to go ahead with the C3-4 ACDF with him. It went downhill after that! Very long story short, Dr. Patel stated he would not prescribe post-op pain meds to me after my surgery, because I currently saw a spine pain management dr and had a "contract" with him. I then spoke to my pain dr and he said the surgeon needs to prescribe post-op surgery meds, because he is treating pre-surgery pain symptoms and who knows what will happen during surgery and what I'... read more
Too bad Dr Gavalda is alright - although he does tend to push you off onto other staff in his office, like the NP. But the office staff, including the medical assistants and lab techs are literally so rude and unprofessional. No matter how good the care is from the PCP, I would never go here again.
I had been a patient here for 10 + years. After switching over to Dr Tran I will never return again. Two appoints in a row where I was not seen after an hour wait. Even worse, the staff laughed it off as normal.
