I recently had ACDF surgery with Dr. Patel. I am extremely happy with the outcome of the surgery. Dr. Patel was the 3rd and FINAL surgeon I interviewed for my cervical fusion surgery this year. And I say "final" because upon meeting Dr. Patel and his staff, I was 100% certain, I wasn't moving forward with anyone else. He came highly recommended by a friend and I completely understand why. Dr. Patel is amazing. From his bedside manner to his skill level, my wife and I were so happy with the outcome of my surgery. My mom went in for spinal stenosis caused by 2 slipped discs in August 2021. From our very first visit with Dr Patel, he made her (and me) feel so comfortable. We were really nervous about her having back surgery but so happy we found Dr Patel. The surgery was a huge success and recovery time was short. His staff is impeccable and didn't miss a beat. Highly recommend him!
My outpatient day surgery was on June 24, 2021. Dr. Patel decompressed nerve roots in my spine and performed a triple fusion from L3 to S1. I have never felt better in the 23 years I have had back pain. I was in so much pain before surgery that it was difficult to function. I used a cane to walk. My wife has had back pain for many years. She has gotten injections that gave temporary relief. She had visited a doctor that recommended surgery. He would entering from the front and back to install a metal plate with screws. That scared her to the point she decided that she would live with the pain and get occasional steroid shots. Dr Patel did an amazing job on my Lumbar (12/2020) and Neck (03/2021). For both surgeries I was up and walking the same day at the hospital. I no longer suffer from lower back/leg pains and am walking long distances again. My left arm is no longer experiencing coldness, numbness or tingling. I will admit the neck surgery was the most painful of the two but after about 2 weeks the pain subsided. I highly recommend Dr Patel and his team to anyone experiencing back or neck pain! Thank you for "fixing my problems"!
