These guys are a complete joke. They claim what they are doing is "industry standard" but then they can't even tell you what the basic building code is. We fought back and forth about them fixing things that weren't up to basic building code and after having our house torn apart for years, they finally just said "So sue us." We have enjoyed our new home so far with minimal wear from settling with additional minor workmanship issues that are easy fixes for us to complete ourselves. Our largest headache has been the landscapers which Nilson used for our neighborhood: Kodiak Landscaping LLC. Communication, plant health and unfinished work continue to be issues which seem to be multiplying; many neighbors have had and continue to have issues similar to ours with no updates. We built a home with Nilson homes and were super impressed. We signed papers in 2020, with Hiedi Iverson. Heidi was amazing, she was upfront and honest with us the whole time! Heidi spend lots of time with us, looking at floor plans, walking through models, figuring out what I could afford. When it came down to signing papers, I said I was nervous and not sure. Heidi Iverson was AMAZING!! She made everything seamless and a breeze, I seriously HIGHLY recommend her! Nilson homes has been so amazing to work with, I was worried building a home would be hard and stressful. But it has been actually the opposite! They have been so great! We have had a lot of fun working with Nilson. They are very genuine and helped answer any questions that we had. We did have a couple of miscommunications with the design studio, but other than that we are very happy with our home. We would definitely build through Nilson again!
Nilson homes has been fantastic for my family and I. We walked into a model home unannounced and was instantly greeted by Heidi she went over every possible option with my family which included a great lender who offered to take 5k off of either closing cost or total sales price which helped our situation tremendously!
