Service was very slow , but staff was nice and helpful. Room were dated yet comfortable. Elevators need to be fixed very slow. Overall a good stay.
I stayed here with my daughter, mom, and sister. The room was fine, and the resort itself was great. If your expectations are set at a 3/4 star resort you will be satisfied with the experience. The elevators do need some attention though. One is a bit on the scary side !
Nice location. Great beach and pool. Food is really good, drinks strong. Have to pay $45 for the huts you see in pics. Decent shape hotel. Looks spectacular outside and at lobby. Shows it's age and repair needs inside. Balcony is nice but worn and broken doors and locks. Jetted tubs, one of our rooms had broken knobs for the jets, the other worked. Elevators need an overhaul. Bumpier and scarier than most theme rides.

No Internet access in the room only in lobby. Exercise equipment not working....only 2 out of 4 treadmills were operational. No in room coffee and the place in the lobby that calls themselves Starbucks don't really know what that means. I'm sure glad I got a special deal on this place and didn't pay full price.

Yesterday I experienced a wonderful full body massage for my 30th birthday. It was one of the best I have ever had. After that I got to relax on the private beach, under a tiki hut!! The service and staff was amazing! Thank you Newport!
Beautiful resort, great service and the employees are very helpful and pleasant. I would definitely recommend it.
It was a nice location. Nice scenic beach area. Had to pay extra fees for parking, $20 for park your own car or $25 for valet parking each day. Had to change rooms because of noise and toilet running constantly and tub spa was broke, and they didn't at first we had to wait extra day. Crowded lobby area.
