My girlfriend and I are needing to relocate to Oxfordshire so have been trying to find somewhere to rent. Found a nice property advertised by Newmans & enquired. Absar replied with some information but could not be flexible in viewings at all despite knowing it's a 200+ mile roundtrip for us. No weekend viewings. No virtual viewings.
A huge shout out to Absar Sarwar! We have just moved into our new rental home and Absar has been nothing short of wonderful. He’s always on hand to answer my stupid questions and is extremely polite, friendly and accommodating. From our first viewing to picking up the keys he’s kept us in the loop - every step of the way. We couldn’t have done it without him. The welcome hamper that Newmans provide is a lovely and thoughtful gesture. We feel confident and looked after under his guidance. 100% recommend.
To summarise the incompetence here, just compare these guys reviews to every other Leamington estate agent. Avoid at all costs. Myself and my housemate were renting and received awful, awful service. We were given no support for the many issues we had, including no hot water or heating through Christmas and Winter, and a two meter crack in the kitchen ceiling, which also resulted in that and the bathroom above being unsafe. We raised these issues time and time again with 'Julie', with absolutely no support. Eventually being given a 'No-Fault' Section 21 Notice, just before Christmas.
I contacted them about a property whose listing stated "email enquiries only". Never received a response but the property is still being listed.
