Amazing place! Well worth a visit! And the volunteers are wonderful- a hub of the community
Just called the office to donate a bed and sofa. Honestly you wouldn't have thought this charity were benefitting from free donated excellent quality stuff (a barely used M&S single bed, matress with a pull out bed and an M&S sofa) because the person answering the call could barely be bothered. Said they were full of furniture (fair enough) but sounded really arrogant and ungrateful about the propect of recieving a donation. A very bad ambassador for help aged UK I wont be supporting them from now on.
I donated a lot of furniture and homeware today, the AgeUK Newhaven Warehouse guys who came to collect the items were punctual, polite and really helpful. Highly recommended!
Lovely people that work there and so helpful! Some great items in there as well and some good bargains! highly recommend
