Sear's service repair is very reliable and they do an execellent job. We bought a Kenmore washer and Refrigerator from Sears 35 years and both appliances are still working, thanks to the maintence of their Repair personnel.
The service was great and the tech was very knowledgable but after a couple of days the drip started again. Not sure what is going on with this water and ice dispenser however I will make another appointment to have them research it further. On a 1 to 10 I would give the techs a 10. Could be a bad part from the parts department !
Service tech Juan was excellent. He asked the right questions about the problems we were having with the refrigerator, listened to every symptom, explained why they might be happening and what he was going to look for, and did just that. He quickly found and corrected 2 issues, had necessary parts with him, was polite and professional, and done within 30 minutes of arrival. Great service.
Every appliance I own was purchased at and has a protection agreement with Sears. Called for service on broken refrigerator January 2nd. First appointment available was January 12th. Tech walked in, looked at serial number, saw that it was different number (have a spare soda fridge in the garage) and walked out. Refused to check to see if kitchen fridge was covered, which it always has been. Called back for service, and next appointment available is January 28th. I just want my repair service to do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it, for the price you said it would cost (absent changes due to legitimate unexpected problems). Do that and I am happy. Sadly it is hard to find service like that. But the Sears repair was great. They check all of the boxes above. In addition, the repair guy was polite, friendly, efficient, and communicated well. I would definitely use this service again.
Repair was called in early November and it took multiple visits and at least 3 trys to get it fixed. Service tech Don was good but the scheduling and timing was bad.
