They can't fix and keep making appointments. Their tech guys Ordering wrong parts and rescheduling appointments. Appointments gap is 10-15 Days. Which is not acceptable to anyone. Overall Poor service.
The service was good. Water heater pilot was not staying on. Technician was knowledgeable and in his first visit he diagnosed the issue and ordered the parts. Parts arrived as estimated in two days. Technician had already pre-scheduled the 2nd appointment and the issue was fixed to my satisfaction.
The technician arrived just after 8 AM ( a pleasant surprise in itself). He was courteous and prompt in assessing the problem with the oven. And the overall cost of the repair was reasonable.
The Sears service was quite good. It was UPS that screwed everything up. Because medicine was being stored in the refrigerator, the replacement fan was shipped 3 day delivery. The fan arrived in Oakland on Monday, but was not delivered by the time the repairman arrived on Wednesday morning. It was Thursday afternoon before the part was finally delivered. We were very pleased with our repairman. Travis was so friendly and worked fast to find the problem. When he did he ordered the part and had it set up to make an appointment when it arrived. The part came on a monday, monday evening they called with the appt information. On the scheduled day Travis was at the door with a big smile on his face. He is a hard worker and is so nice and friemdly. Travis is an asset to Sears!!!
Service technician was very knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, arrived on time, and was accommodating to our busy schedule. Very pleased with Sears Home Services in our area. Successfully got our 8 year old Sears Kenmore Elite Oven and Stovetop in original working condition.
