Really Nice Lady, Strong Movers, No damages – You read a lot of crap about movers and all the scams that can go along with the companies. After doing my research and talking to several different companies I chose New Planet Moving because really the girl Lauren was the only one from any of the companies that really explained things thoroughly and seemed to only talk about thier company as opposed to talking bad about every other moving company. THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB FOR MY MOMS MOVE – I live in Atlanta and needed to move my mother to live with me. She is 83 now and as much as it has turned my life upside down and sideways i absolutley had to have her here. The thing was that in Michigan in the little city she was in didnt really have any moving companies that could go out and take a look at what she had. good deal overall &really nice and helpful customer service – i moved from ohio to nevada and i had a great move. they told me theyd come on the 1st or the 2nd, and they called me two days before to let me know i was moving on the 1st and that was good because i really wanted to leave on the 2nd. the movers were very helpful and gave me a break on the long carry from my apartment in ohio. i gave them pizza and then we went to the scale. i decided to do that so that i could pay my balance then and not worry about it later. my... read more

cheap move get what u pay for – mayflower will charge you double for the same crap. new planet was upfront and forced me to overquote so i didnt turn into one of the customers that go over- im happy my stuffs all good- and i paid 1200 bucks- thanks

Just be prepared and you will have a great move. – As an insurance agent I work in a service industry and I know how hard it is to please everyone no matter how within your rights you are. Especially when you have a high volume of customers. I just got my delivery from this company and I had one issue which was a small scratch on my tv stand. MADE ME FEEL IMPORTANT – I JUST WANTED TO TELL EVERYONE HOW IMPRESSED I WAS WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM NEW PLANET MOVING. THE LADY MARISA WAS VERY HELPFUL. COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE – I put one star because there isnt anything lower available to grade these people. I had made arrangements with them 6 weeks prior to our move and we had all the boxes and furniture ready to go. ONE day prior to their coming and only after I called them, they informed me that they are not coming to Salt Lake City to move us to California because they do not have enough people to move there from SLC and it would not be worth it to them to come and just move us. 2 Moves- Both good – I moved from Dallas to Las Vegas and back to Dallas again. Both moves were with New Planet. During my first experience with them I was very satisfied with the rate that I was quoted, and the total move I did had about $150 total in extra packing charges that I may have avoided if I payed closer attention to what the girl was telling me as opposed to getting hyper about the rate LOL.
