As someone who is married to someone who works with HIPPA violations and IT security of patients information, I was blown away by this story. So many violations. This hospital should tread carefully about this matter as they are in the wrong and then some. This was not okay. In no universe is what happened here ok.
Total disgrace to the medical community....the involved nurses need reprimanding at the very least!
Not a patient. I'm a concerned person who cannot believe what I have read in the news about the young, ill child who was removed from her sleeping mother by another patient in this hospital while the nurses knew and did nothing. And this hospital has said that there will be no disciplinary action taken? The child, her medical equipment, crib and personal diaper bag were taken from the mother without her knowing it by a person not known to her and without her permission and hospital staff knew and they are not being fired? Apparently based off of 2 patients statuses i have seen you apparently let a baby who was your patient cry for over an hour and never bothered to check on it while allowing random patients to walk in that room and just pick the baby up. This baby could have been kidnapped and/or worse due to your neglect and lack of morals. You have not replied to a single person about this situation and i hope it's because you're being sued and/or investigated. I sincerely hope you get shut down and sued for every penny you have.
