For 2 months I have been trying to open the kids account. After 2 months of expectation, numerous visits to the branch, completed application, zoom calls, I eventually got….guess what? The new application form for my child! Which I already fulfilled and brought to the branch (it was my 5th visit to the branch with the aim to open the child account). It's lunch time on a Monday and there is just one person serving on the cash tills. There's a queue in front of me of 7 people. A queue of 3 people on the help desk. The 3 stars is because the staff, when you get to them, are very nice here. However, why so understaffed is beyond me and the minus two stars are for the management. I wrote a letter to them last time I was here saying how the sign posting for the different sections is very poor. I hand delivered it. No response. No clear instructions on where to go for information or assistance. One desk for help, but spent more than half hour of my lunch whilst the same customer was being served at the counter until I left. Very slow service if any service at all

How ridiculous that this NatWest in such a busy area is CLOSED on SATURDAYS? It is impossible to be able to get to this bank if you work. I guess this will make it easier for NatWest to close this branch for good when they cite ‘a drop in the number of customers’.
