I've had a deteriorating thumb joint and chronic lower back pain for a long time. I'd not tried acupuncture before, but yesterday I did. Ling's treatment worked straight away: my back felt easier and the pain in my thumb joint was reduced - this from two needles in my hand. I wondered if this effect would last.
