I had an extremely disappointing experience with Halfords Autocentre in Peterborough (Bourges Boulevard) regarding a timing belt change. I booked the appointment over three and a half weeks in advance, during which time I avoided driving the car entirely due to safety concerns about the belt potentially failing. Is it under new management if so get rid i had no issues here before and used for couple years. Obv not anymore Booked and paid for mot and full service 2 weeks in advance via website and a motoring club member. Weds a girl calls saying machines broke they can't do mot Thursday but can book me in at stanground Friday Bit inconvenient and then mot overdue but I agreed to be booked in at 11.50. Very good service from arrangements to completion! I booked for complete tyre change! I was extremely happy with the service received 5/5!!!
My partner took her car here for a service and MOT. At the end of the day my partner contacted to ask if the car was ready where she was told that it was ready to collect, but when questioned they confirmed that it had actually failed the MOT so couldn’t leave the premises and that they needed to order a part.
