The wait is ridiculous I was there for over 7 hours without seeing any dr.
My wife went in for hip surgery and everything went well. The nurses in the rooms for the stay were good no complaints.
This is the worse hospital ever. My mom went in at 6pm she couldn't breathe at all. They could careless about your situation. so they just did some test made us sit in the waiting room for hours . so we make it to the back around 10pm they hook her to the machine. we still waiting so now its 11pm they inform us of another test she have to do. so she does the test so now we waiting and waiting now its 2a.m. The RN lets us know she has pneumonia so at approximately 3:45 am they discharge her to go home . Majority of the staff act like robots and treat the patient like a number while they are joking around and having a good laugh. The waiting times are over 10 hours and people felt helpless. No one was kind enough to check in with the people waiting just to check it. It's obvious most of the staff are there to collect a paycheck. There was a couple of doctors and nurses that were kind and helpful but majority did not share the same enthusiasm of helping people. I had an excellent experience at Palmdale Regional, my nurses were all absolutely amazing. They all made me feel very comfortable. My husband stayed in the room with for 3 days and he was very pleased with the medical attention I was given after my surgery.
Both hospitals in the AV are far the worst! Need to drive down below to go to an ER..
