My husband at ER and they checked his therapeutic levels on seizure meds except they checked for a level he doesn’t take because he’s allergic to. They accused him of not taking his meds. He heard two nurses talking that they thought he was there just for pain drugs. Dr then gave him a 1,000 liter IV bag of the drug he is allergic to. And yes it’s in his chart what he is allergic to. Don’t ever come to this hospital if you’re sick, very poor service physician and nurses in ER are horrible, I have to walk out because I don’t want to die early.thank you for nothing

I see why now, after visiting Palmdale Reg Med center that they have the reputation of killing people!! I have always told my family to always take me to AV hosp and sadly, I ended up there yesterday 12/11/2020. I had chest pain and could NOT breathe. I told them I am Covid positive so their exact words were....ok, you get to go to “Covid Island”!! They were not joking. The worst emergency room experience I have ever had in my life. I went there with a case of acute pancreatitis. I arrived at 9 AM, they ran tests on me, blood test ultrasound and MRI so they could easily determine that I was very very sick. At 1 o’clock pm after waiting for 4 hours, I asked the person at the desk how much longer it would be because I was in terrible pain and was told it would be 20 to 21 more hours before I could be seen. The “emergency” room is ridiculous!!! I went in on Friday with a sugar level of 493...they never rechecked it in triage. Hours later after feeling worse and worse I had them check it and it was over 500...they still made me wait saying there were no beds. However when I went to X-ray, there were 4 empty beds!!! By the time I got in a room in the back it was 14 HOURS LATER!!! Needless to say I was in Diabetic let acidosis, which could be fatal!!! Hats off to the Out Patient Surgery Center. The Nursing Staff was first notch! I was treated like a real human. You ladies were all so Polite and professional in every way. Nurses are like Teachers, all they want is to help others.....takes a humble ❤️ to do their job, deal with attitude, only to get back up in the morning and do it all over again!
