The National hotel is an iconic hotel in Miami and the art decor pieces in the hotel lobby are beautiful but it just doesn't filter through to the rest of the hotel. The rooms are basic and very dated. The furniture (covered couches) in our room and the bathroom down the stairs from the bar are in need of serious cleaning or recovering - it's rather off putting seeing it and wondering if your bed your climbing into is in the same standard. Its always an Amazing time at the National. Beautiful atmosphere and awesome service. I threw a Bachelor party out by the pool and the Hotel made sure they supported us in a major way. Thank u Guys very much!!!
Pool is great, was able to check in early, room service wasn't badly priced. Downside, no ice machine only on request, pool party ( when booking I wasn't aware of one ). Overall was good, but will try another hotel in the future.

My stay is not even over I’m already disappointed @ National Hotel Miami. Check out is at 12pm. I’m sick & agreed to pay extra $90 until 3pm, after 4pm will be whole day stay. Kindly asked if it can be extended until 5pm since I have a flight to catch, they said No! Per Deloris (unsure of name spelling) at the Front Desk, gave me the excuse that the carpet in our room (coincidentally of ALL rooms) will be replaced today & yet there’s no problem about skipping the room’s carpet if I choose to extend for another day.
