RecommendedI highly recommend the upgrade to a Cabana with the balcony over the pool. Beautiful! The staff including Cesia in house keeping and Kory at beach were thoughtful and kind. A beautiful hotel with amazing food, two pools , full service bar/ restaurant poolside and located right on on the beach. Order a coconut (they crack open right in front of you) with rum. 🌸❤️ See you again soon ~
Stayed here during April 2019 and had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The location is also perfect, close to Ocean Dr, Espanola Way and Like ncoln Mall. Little Havana and Wynwood are short Ubers, as are Marlins and Heat games. Get a cabana room overlooking the pool, they have balconies, which is really nice.

For the price we’re paying, I’d expect something a lot nicer. The place is very old, not modern at all. We also don’t like how there isn’t designated areas for smokers. We can’t stand the smell. This place doesn’t even come close to a Sandals resort.

Lina at the pool was THE BEST poolside waitress! Love this hotel. It has the most beautiful pool area in Miami. The cabana rooms are super. All the employees are extremely courteous and helpful. The live music in the blues bar is delightful and the perfect way to wind down after a great day. The location of this hotel is also ideal. There's nothing not to love. We'll be back next year!
Terribly disappointed that as a multi-time returning customer, Florida resident and who recently send two other guests to the National the hotel was not prepared to move our booking. Our road trip to the Keys has been cut short due to a family situation in Tampa and the hotel proposes to penalize us $364 rather than move the booking in 3 nights time out to November. Extremely disappointing.
